Berdyev is of the belief that the French midfielder will excite Rubin Kazan fans and has hinted at more signings at the Russian Premier League club during the winter transfer window
Rubin Kazan head coach, Kurban Berdyev, has expressed his delight after signing Yann M’Vila from Rennes, saying that the French midfielder will strengthen the Russian Premier League club’s midfield given that they are struggling
in the key area.
The 22-year-old defensive midfielder reportedly signed a 4.5 year contract with the Kazan-based club and refused to join English Premier League club, Queen Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314, headed by Harry Redknapp after meeting with Berdyev at Tsentralnyi
stadium.
But news in Russian media suggests that M’Vila wanted to make a move to Loftus Road initially in a bid to help them come out of the relegation zone. However, the player was denied a chance to move to England after the Ligue 1 club
accepted a more lucrative offer from Rubin.
If speculations are to be believed, the Russian outfit captured the midfield maestro for reportedly 12 million Euros.
Berdyev reckons that M’Vila will help the Tatary, who are yet to claim a European trophy since the inception of the Russian top division, ain gaining a strong foothold in the cup competition.
