Rubin Kazan manager has assured the fans of staying at the Russian Premier League club despite the media claims of signing a contract with Turkmenistan national team
Rubin Kazan head coach, Kurban Berdyev, has dismissed the reports that he has signed any contract with the Turkmenistan national team and assured the fans of staying put with the Russian outfit.
News in Russian media suggested that the 60-year-old manager, who has been with the Russian Premier League club since 2001, signed a two-year contract with the National team after agreeing personal terms.
It was reported that Berdyev, whose contract expires in 2014, met with the top officials of the state to discuss the terms and conditions of the contract after being absent from the training ground on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Consequently, the Tatary were trained by assistant manager Vitaliy Kafanov following Berdyev’s absence. The media further reported that the Turkmen returned to the base closer to midnight.
However, Berdyev confirmed that there is no truth behind the speculations and rumours saying that he is happy with the Russian outfit where he established himself as a more competent coach.
“I would not react to all this nonsense. I do not care if they does not like me staying here for a longer period. They came up with their story to say that I absent to find a way out of the club.”

There is little arguing to the statement that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 defender helped the Kazan-based club in emerging as a top flight Russian Premier League club in his second successive season at Tsentralnyi stadium.
His achievements with the Volzhane include, back-to-back league titles in 2008 and 2009, a Russian Cup and two Russian Super Cups respectively.
