lead but was lucky to get back on the table as Harold broke at a break of 40 and another 26 from Maflin took him even ahead by 2-0.

In the fourth frame, Harold was the first to be among the balls but he could not produce a good break and brought Maflin back on the table after potting just 9 points. A few chances were exchanged afterwards before Maflin again wrapped the frame with a classy
break of 82 to lead by 3-1. Similarly in the following frame another carving break of 83 from Maflin was produced which gave Harold no chance.
Maflin, leading by 4-1, was now looking for only one more frame to reach the last 48.
First chance in the sixth frame fell for Harold but he lost his nerve again after a break of 23 and a couple of quick fires, 21 and 52, from Harold finished the matters off.
