Kurtley Beale motivated to conclude Wallabies Rugby World Cup campaign in flying colours
The Wallabies full-back, Kurtley Beale, has stated that his squad to end their Rugby World Cup campaign in a decent manner. Wallabies will take on Wales in the bronze medal competition on Friday, October 21, in Auckland, in their last match of the ongoing
global showpiece. Wallabies were thumped by their arch rivals All Blacks and the Welsh side was outscored by the unpredictable French in the semi-finals.
Beale talked the media on October 20 and said that he was disappointed to miss the last weekend play-off but would not lose the opportunity to help his side in their next match.
Beale, who missed the semi-final contest against New Zealand due to a shoulder injury, has recovered and is all set to boost his side in the forthcoming battle. Talking about the Wallabies previous outings against the All Blacks he said that, “I'm very disappointed
about last week, but we've got an opportunity to leave our mark on the tournament and show everyone what we're really about. The boys are pretty keen to get out there and do a good job on the Welsh.”
The full-back was excited to show off his skills to the former All Blacks legend Jonah Lomu, who was discharged from hospital just before the highly anticipated match and watched Wallabies practice sessions. However, he was unable to hit the field on this
special event due to his injury.
Describing the special occassion of Lomu’s presence in the stands he said that, “Just his presence was enough. He's a well-respected man in the game and one of the legends of the game. The way he played, everyone who plays rugby tries to emulate. Everyone
tries to take parts of his game and put it into their own game to go out and play.”
Wallabies have made eight changes in their side that played against All Blacks last weekend. The changes include a few comebacks, injuries and some players have been dropped for their poor show in Eden Park. On the other hands, Wales has featured three changes
in their line ups and Gethin Jenkins has been given command of the side in the absence Sam Warburton.
