Kuwaiti coach Dragan Talajic also showed concerns over the suspension of two of their first team regulars. Sami Al Sanea and Jarah Al Ateeqi were both been booked in the semi-final and are ineligible for the decider on Saturday.
The tactician stayed positive despite knowing about unavailability of the duo. He urged his players not to be complacent against the Uzbeks and justify their talent when it is most needed.
While talking to reporters ahead of the Saturday’s final, Talajic further enthused, "We have two suspended players and some injured players and some sick players who got the flu when we arrived here to cold weather from hot weather in Kuwait. But for our
team it is not a big problem since we have enough quality players to play tomorrow and to win.”
Kuwait SC previously won the same competition in 2009 and Al-Ameed are on the verge of lifting the same title for second time in three years.
