Liverpool’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348 is disappointed with the way the Reds lost to Arsenal and feels that the team need to pick their form up, or they could risk dropping more points in the future.

The Reds took on Arsenal in the Premier League, in a game that both the teams were determined to win.
The Merseyside club dominated the proceedings early on and even went on to take the lead in the game via an own goal.
However, Arsenal went on to fight back later on in the game and managed to overcome Liverpool, as they outscored them by two goals to one.
As a result, the North London club went on to claim all three points from the game, while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 took nothing away from the game.
A number of the Reds players have expressed their disappointment with the result, with many believing that it was unfair for the team to lose in the way that they did.
Kuyt seems to feel the same way, but instead of blaming everyone else, the striker feels the team needs to really step their game up, or it could be impossible for them to play any European football next season.
When talking about his sides loss to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and just how disappointed he was, the Dutch international is quoted to have said:  “It's very disappointing. I thought the team played really well. We should have scored at least three goals”
“I enjoyed linking up with Luis Suarez and we created enough chances but we need to kill those chances.”
“To lose was just unbelievable. Without Van Persie they are a completely different team.
“I had a feeling I didn't hit the penalty as properly as I normally do but that's football - sometimes you score goals, sometimes you miss penalties.”
“We had other opportunities to kill the game."
During the game, Kuyt went on to miss a penalty and then failed to score with the follow up, had the forward managed to score with either one of those attempts, the game would have had a completely different outlook.
Nonetheless, it is now up to the squad to show their spirit, as they look to fight on and try and reduce the ten point gap between themselves and Arsenal, who are sitting in the fourth spot in the league table.
