Kwame Brown signs with the Pistons?

Pistons fans,What do you think about the pistons signing Kwame Brown?

How stupid when:

1. Trade Grant Hill for Ben Wallace and Chucky Atkins

2. Sign Chauncey Billups (as an underacheiver at that time, forgot what his age, but he was around 26, too) for a 6 six year deal

3. Made a trade for Sheed

Joe Dumars knows how to find gem stones, he's probably one of those guys. Brown do have talent, but need to someone to polish that. Oh yeah, guys, keep saying they're stupid.

Chauncey Billups. Ben Wallace. These are guys who weren't very good before going to Detroit but then flourished there. Who knows, Kwame could potentially become a 20 and 10 guy with the right amount of work. LOL its a long shot, but he can become better offensivey perhaps.

i think that detroit is a great at making players who have been hated their whole career into stars but for kwame brown its different. there is just no hope for him,he needs to learn from a mentor. so i say good luck to the pistons but he probably wont play a lot anyways

Depends how much they are paying for him. He's not a bad player. Just because he's not a super star doesn't mean he doesn't belong in the nba. He can definitely help out an nba team. Nothing wrong with being the 7th or 8th best player on an nba team you know. All they need to do is cut his sallery & he's a good deal.

He is there for defensive purposes. They dont expect him to dominate the paint offensively by scoring 15-20 pts a game. Maybe in a few years when Rasheed teaches him a few moves but other than that he is only on the Pistons to defend big opposing centers like Dwight Howard and Shaq. Rebounding,shot blocking, and setting screens are going to be his job.

he still has talent but there are a few problems

1. he is overweight

2. he doesn't play with intensity

3. he has tons on mental mistakes

4. he lets plays bother him

5. he is a bad overall shooter with bad hands

As a Celtics fan, I've allways admired the Pistons, their organization as well as their team and players, but to this one I say ' Good Luck" . Your going to need it.

Best teams improve players potentional, and this one Pistons and Suns can help him become a better player..unfortunately Lakers could have done it too but he was too d**n injured for them to help him sort out.

yep. i dont know why everybody is hating on him. he is not the worst player in the league like Marko Jaric or darko Milic. he is just a bust. the only flaw he has is small hands which cant cathc the balls. ppl overhype him as a bad player
