  1. Kwame Kilpatrick should have resigned back when this whole fiasco first started.  That man has been a continuing embarrassment to the City of Detroit, and to black people in general.  And the longer this has gone on, the more he has continued to do a bunch of stupid mess, instead of just keeping a low profile.  It is well past time for a resignation!

  2. He's in jail right now.  Rightly so.  (i am a citizen of Detroit)

I would prefer both resignation and jail time.

  3. I admit this sounds a bit old fasioned but I think we should wait until he actually gets convicted of something first

  4. I think it was time for a resignation months ago. But, since he can't keep himself out of trouble, I do think he should do jail time. He perjured himself, shamed his family, shamed Detroit and the whole state of Michigan and he still thinks he is above the law and can lay his hands on a sheriff deputy. Someone's gotta teach him a lesson; maybe jail time will do the job.

  5. No.  The city of Detroit would riot, then that would make things even worse.  Detroiters actually support Kwame; always have and always will.  If it was election time right now, he would win in a landslide.

The people who don't like him are people from outside the city of Detroit (not including Governor Granholm, she's his buddy.)  Unfortunately for those people, they have no say in what kind of gangsta rapper gets elected by the illiterates who live in the city.

  6. He's a scumbag that ruined that fair city and all of his cronies should go down with him .Just another criminal running a city full of criminals....Shows you what liberalism does to cities

  7. what the heck are u talking about

    n what did he do

  8. Um...being from the Detroit area and working there, I have seen first hand the damage he has caused.  I have read the text messages and have seen him act above the law.  If convicted, yes he should go to jail.  Those not from this area should really read into all of the stuff that he has done!  Around here, its not like we all think its a conspiracy theory against him,  there is a lot of evidence stacked against him, and not much of a defense that he has against it.  Have you read the text messages? You should!  Believe me, I know very very well that he has done a lot of wrong.
