what is the difference between the kx and klx models from kawasaki dirtbikes. i know that kx is motocross and klx is off-road, but what else are the differences? does the kx have allot more power than klx? i am going from a klx 110 to possibly a kx 250f, because i am way outgrown for the 110, but i don't know what other bike i could get that i could use for many more years and that i would not outgrow? would you recommend me getting the 250f? i am almost 16 and 5'6, 120 lbs. thank you.

  1. id say go for the 250f. others may say its a huge step but i say go for it. 250s can go anywhere and are perfect for the trails, i love them. plus the new kawi 250f was rated best 250f of the year so get it!! have fun!

  2. you can't really outgrow a 250F except by going to a 450 but I think 250F are powerful enough guys that are in their mid 20s ride 250s but if you just trail ride I would get a CRF230F which you probably won't outgrow for awhile or you may like it so much that you never move up you could also get a 150 like that guy said but if you've been riding for awhile I think you could learn to handle the power

  3. going from a KLX110 to a 250F is a HUGE step. I would recommend the CRF150R for a year or so first... even that step is lightyears beyond the performance of the 110... another sound choice would be the CRF230F if you donot race besides the starter makes learning to work the clutch easier...
