Question:

Kx100 vs yz85, which is better for a semi-new rider?

i am 5'8, 200lbs, 14 years old and and this would be my first bike. i will be just trail riding. i am between this the yz85 and the kx100 but if i was to get the kx100 i would want to change the side the pipe is on if that is possible . the fastest bike i have ridden is a 125cc pit bike.

  1. If your just trail riding I wouldn't get a motocross bike......... but that doesn't matter I would get a kx100 it's a little bit bigger and has a little more power but their so much alike that I would just get the one that's newer

    Edit: yes and you would unscrew it from the exhaust port which is connected to the cylinder


  2. your way too big for a 100. get any 250 four stroke thats not a mx bike and it should work out fine. and who cares about what side the pipe is on

  3. At 200 lbs and 5'8" I would go for a 125..or a 250..Your a little big for the 110 or the 85..

    You really cant change the pipe on the 110..It is a custom fit to the bike..

    You would fit nice on a 250..

  4. Go with the KX100. Kawasaki sells a 1 into 4 exhaust pipe for the right side. They also sell a 1 into 8 up swept pipe that runs under the frame and then has 4 stingers that come up flush with each side of the rear fender for a total of 8.

  5. Get a 250 4 strk. ur to big for KX100, & ur not through growin yet either
