Question:

Kyle Busch Probation?

When is NASCAR gonna get their head out of the closet and remove Kyle Busch from racing? Look at his past record and all they do is slap his hand over and over. This tells him it's okay to do this, but now you need to wait till your probation is lifted before you can do it again. Sooner or later he is gonna hurt someone beyond what probation and a fine will repair.

  1. Someone is gonna get hurt??? They are in cars built to take a hit at 200mph! We are talking about Kyle not Kurt. Kurt is the one pulling this c**p in the pits. Racing is a full contact sport! They were rubbin... and rubbin is racin! He has a drive to win something more drivers need to have. I would like to see more drivers beatin and bangin! If you want to see a non contact race watch Indy... they are the most boring races around!

They should only sit a driver out if they are caught CHEATING! And yes even if it is my guy that is caught.

  2. I agree. Why doesn't the owner make Busch pay for the damage on both cars? He got in a hissy fit, couldn't take it. NASCAR is a joke-suspend Edwards???? What did you think he would do-ignore getting hammered by a clown ?

  3. First, they will not"get rid" of anyone.

Second, that's like saying that they should ban the Steelers from football because they win too much.

And to Gotal Hunter, he didn't bump him. Watch the video, he slammed him twice, hard enough to rattle the camera. And while Carl had his arm out the window waving.

Now that is an A$$HAT move!!!!!

Me personally, I would have waited until after the race and everything was over, filed a complaint with NASCAR. Waited around like Tony Stewart did, and POP, right in the mouth.

All the whining seems to be that Kyle got put on probation. WELL TOO FRIGGIN BAD!!!!! He started it, Carl finished it, DONE!

So stick that in your smoke and pipe it.

  4. First let me add . Steelers too good what a joke . in what world Tom P. remember when the Jags came to town in the Playoffs huh. anyways KB is good and to p**s more people off he drive a Toyota which by the way is the ONLY ride in the NASCAR circuit in production for the street model whilst the others are made in  Canada and Mexico

  5. Gotal Hunter ------ I would love to know how you figure Kyle "bumped" Carl at the end of the race? First off the race was over so what was he even doing there next to Edwards? Second he slammed into the side of Edwards car not once but twice so he backed off and spun him out. I agree that Edwards shouldnt have hit him back and just backed off but I think Busch would have kept pushing. Nascar should bench Busch for a race. it has been done before to other drivers. make him sit one of these last races before the chase. heck he is up by 212 points so he wouldnt lose the lead. he will get all the lead back with bonus points in chase. It will hurt the wallet more.

BTW... he isnt going to win the chase anyway.

  6. Yes and Junior passes below the yellow line at Daytona but nothing is done? I know you don't like Kyle but without him who would you have to hate. I don't like Junior but banning him from racing would not be the answer to my problem with him. Like always nobody likes a winner but everybody loves a loser. I myself like Kyle because he is kicking the c**p out of Hendricks who got rid of him.

  7. I like Kyle Busch!!! I don't agree with some of the things that he has done but hey it's racing and he is an awesome driver and deserves to race!!!!!!!

  8. They are NOT gonna remove Kyle or anyone else from racing.  They just have to all "play nice".  The more infractions, the worse the penalties if he is still on probation.  He will be good til he's off probation.

    *HEXX*

  9. the only thing nascar did wrong is not give both of them a very public bonus - they silenced the critics who were saying bristol was boring now and they ratcheted up the excitement for the rest of the year. maybe they did give them both bonuses and just didn't announce it.

as for the penalty itself, it's just a cooldown period so they take some time before retaliating. like between tony stewart and kurt busch during speedweeks. a six week probation means after the first four weeks of the chase, the gloves are off with six to go. and perfect timing too - right after talladega and right before charlotte. wahoo!!!

  10. Wahhhhh. Just because he's better than your guy.

Oh, and Kyle "bumped" Edwards after the race. Edwards lost it, dove down the track like a madman and spun Kyle out. Kyle shouldn't have started it, but Edwards, being the cocky ******** he is, overreacted.

Seriously, I have never heard so much whining about a driver as I have heard about Kyle this year. Get over it.

  11. As far as removing a driver, I doubt if that would ever happen.  How ever with that said, I think they should add to probation restrictions after multiple infractions as this.  They should do like they do to crew chiefs and band them from tracks for X amount of races.

This was Bristol, the bump and run is expected there.  Carl bumped Kyle, Kyle bumped back...no big deal.  It was the after the race bumping that got them into trouble.  Both drivers was guilty, both drivers should be punished.

  12. They are not going to remove him. Why do you think the penalty was so light? Why do you think they have waited until the end of the season to perform dyno tests? Gibbs is the chosen team this year and Kyle is their representative. Anybody else would have been on probation until the end of the season. The penalty was worse for throwing a helmet in the past.

  13. You're wrong.  Watch with your eyes and not your opinion because your driver is getting his butt kicked by him.

  14. I dislike Kyle a lot!  But that is a rediculous suggestion.  I find the kid to be a tool, a punk, and just all around unlikeable.  But dangerous? No.  And he is good for the sport.

  15. they would have to go back in time and remove alot of drivers it just wouldnt be fair kyle busch isnt the first driver ever to lose his temper on the track. tom p its funny you mention that because carl edwards did the exact same thing and nearly took dale jrs hand off dale jr didnt retaliate at all.

  16. it is part of racing and beats a snorefest, look at all the talk and NASCAR loves that

  17. I love tom P 's answer he tells it like it is and he's right!!

  18. Going have to agree and disagree with many here.  The bump and run is a tradition here at Bristol.  If you don't like it, get over it!

Now after the race, several laps after it happen Kyle, as good a driver as he is, is still a child and YES he could of hurt Edwards when he hit him AFTER the the race was over.  Watch the video, Carl's arm was out of the car when he was hit.

Talking about the past year's races is mute.  It is history that led up to the rules of TODAY.  Some where someone will always disagree on things, it is called life.  We have to take the good and the bad and live with them, but there is lines one shouldn't cross and like in a criminal court, you break the rule you must pay the piper.  In this case, a slapo on the hand and a small fine has been placed....so let the drama begin.

My 2 cents, NASCAR was too light on Kyle and I do think NASCAR should start putting drivers on the bench a race or two when things like this happen.  For Edwards, he needs to take a few lessons from Stewart and wait and make pay back in the fist to face behind the scene...may make Kyle's face look better afterwards as well.  We all know he needs help there.

  19. Your wrong! I hate to say it that bluntly, but I'm allowed my opinion!!

  20. What Kyle did after the race was not anything that would threaten anyone's safety.  Was it right, no, but it was just one of those things that you get at Bristol sometimes.  He has done stuff much worse than that and I thought the punishment fit the crime for the circumstances.  NASCAR needs Kyle Busch right now, he makes it much more interesting and entertaining.  What would you do if you didn't have a "villain" to boo?  I don't cheer for him but you have to admit that he puts on one he!! of a show.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  21. IT's Bristol, things like that happen alot and i dont think nascar would suspend or bench kyle busch or carl edwards because it wouldnt be as interesting and exciting to watch...right now i think if we didnt have kyle people would have no one to love to hate.
