  1. Hamlin didn't start last in his second win there but he may as well have. If memory serves this damaged mind, he used everything but a lucky dog to go from front to back to front and his second win. So it's been done, just not with a back-up car.

  2. Hopefully he gets caught up in a crash, but he likely won't.

My driver starts in the back just about every week and he always makes it to the front.

  3. He's screwed at Pocono if he's starting last.  Put a fork in him. Unless the early pit strategy works which I have only seen it work a couple times.   How did you find out he crashed at practice "Best"?

A lot of guys look like junk right now. I'm dumbfounded why JR is running like junk when he was incredibly fast in testing.  I guess the heat is throwing them a curve ball.

Ahh..  Jayski has him showing in a backup.  Yeah hes done.

Oh oh he did in the early practice.  I got yahs.  I got up late today.  Long night.

  4. Pocono is a tough place to come to the front from 43rd.

I'd say he'll be lucky if he finishes 20th.

  5. ....and hopefully ending that way, too - for a change.

Sorry, Busch fans. I still can't find it within me to pull for him.

    Searching.... Searching.... Searching....

    Nope, still not there.

    EDIT:

What do you know? I was right for a change!

  6. That is not good at Pocono, it's so hard to pass there.  There is a good chance he might get lapped if there is a long green flag run in the early part of the race.  I would be surpirsed if he ended up with a top 10 and think 15th-20th would be a good goal for him to have.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  7. if anyone can pull it off it's him

  8. I think he will do one if not all of the following:

    1-Wreck- EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!

    2-Get wrecked

    3-Wreck other people

Why would I want him to wreck other drivers?

DID I CALL THAT ONE OR WHAT!

THANKS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT DID NOT BELIEVE ME!

  9. Gee that's great

  10. why do you think he will start last sunday

today in nationwide he wlll because he's not there for qualifying

    tomorrow he will start 10th

unless they do a motor change or something

  11. The D00D (as he has been officially nicknamed on 'From The Marbles' blog check it out) is most likely to be in a testy mood having to start from the back, now, at all three races. Look for his panties to get bunched up in a ball on about lap 10 at Pocano and will put someone into the turn one wall by lap 25. Lack of sleep and a steady steam of NOS will have that kid chewing his tongue off and ranting unintelligible Mars' commercials over his pit radio. Should be exciting, eh.

  12. Trucks-Good

    Nationwide-Good

    Cup-Average

  13. I really really don't like him, but i have a feeling he will get a top 5

    out of this :(.

I would really like for him to crash early though :)

  14. With a good car, pit strategy and avoiding those who would love to see him wreck...he should be ok.  My problem with him is that I think he gets too impatient sometimes.  Other than this I think he will use his head and get to the front. As long as he doesn't try to get to the front on the 2nd lap!  lol  Once he is up there, and he will get up there, I see him staying up there for the rest of the race.

  15. he's starting last in all three races this weekend.  he managed to come from last to about 18th last night before the first caution, then took plenty of time to adjust the car and restarted 28th.  within 20 laps, he was up to 10th, and finished in 2nd, and that's a short race, relative to pocono (anything is short compared to "the 24 hours of pocono" ;-)

he'll do about the same tonight i think, as long as he doesn't get caught up in any crashes caused by cup guys dashing from the back to the front right after the start.

as for pocono, it's a long race - it will affect him, but he's got plenty of time.  just keep him away from trying to turn into the garage ;-)

  16. I think it's going to make it even more exciting to watch Kyle do his 3 races in 3 days in 3 different cities.  It will only add to his accomplishment of doing so.  If anyone can pull off a top 5 in all 3 events, it would be Kyle.  Heck, he may even win one even though it would be highly unlikely starting from the rear of each race.  Wrecking the Cup car was SERIOUS.  Why in the world he would take such a chance to try & get on pit road from that position & speed is why everyone questions his maturity.  He's just not there yet.  5 bonus points for leading a lap may not sound like much but it could end up being big down the road & he more than likely would have at least led a lap by starting in the 10th position.  I'll be shocked if he leads a lap tomorrow unless it is by staying on the track during a caution while everyone else pits.  I still think he pulls out a top 10 if Addington can control him early in the race.

  17. Come on now Bestanswer!  You getting nervous, or something?  Don't tell me your doubting "Your Driver"!  lol

Take a deep breath, let it out slowly, he might do ok....

    hmm?  maybe

Kidding!  Who knows whats gonna happen, I just hope "My Driver" does Great!  And you know who "My Driver" is!  huh?

  18. We will just have to see how it all plays out. We saw a couple drivers get top five finishes a couple weeks ago (Lowes) because of green flag pit stops. Jr and Gordon did NOT have top 5 cars, but gained spots because they didn't need fuel.

I'm sure it will be a long weekend for him though. Starting in the back for all three races. Lots of work. Good thing he is young.

  19. All it takes is good pit strategy, and I think he could come out on top.

  20. Kyle does better when he has to come from behind, it fuels him.

ie.. Talladega, had to go to the back and ended up a lap down (won)

Darlington, had to go to the end of the longest line (won)

I think he'll be okay.. adding this: I say he wins!

*If he's starting dead last at Pocono, and finishes in the top 10-15, that should silence the nay sayers, and if that doesn't do it, nothing will*
