There is an outcry that the images have been deliberatley altered, to make Beyonces skin look paler, and they have obviously used flase eyelashes on penelope, claiming that a mascara can give u this look. but really, ALL cosmetic brands who advertise do the same, they all use airbrushing and false eyelashes, so why just single out l'oreal?

  1. They're singling them out because they want to make a race issue out of it. Beyonce was always one of the palest african-american women I've ever seen, and people are offended that a representative of the A-A community isn't really all that representative. If she looks like she's white, she's not showing her A-A beauty. I think it's silly and that race shouldn't matter. But people always seem to look to make something small a huge issue of racism.

  2. well a liotta companies use those false lash inserts for mascara and it does say in tiny text at the bottom of the screen but everyone was getting uppity bout this beyonce thing b.cos theey were altering the image of the model not the product and they had made her sign a contract agreeing to not alter any aspect of her appearance b4 shooting but then they altered it for her as it were.
