I just joined this program, LAJORS, and I was wondering how good I have to be to start racing in the junior races. I am fifteen years old by the way.

  1. Generally you don't have to be good at all to start racing. The point is that you have to start somewhere.

There is a category system, which means new starters only get to race slower riders. As you get better you move up the categories and ride against faster riders.
