L am thinking about buying a wii, can someone answer some questions for me plz and thank you?

1.l head u can buy/download super mario brothers 1, 2 and 3 from the wii shop channel..how does that work, do u have 2 have wireless internet,where is the wii shop channel, a little lost should l buy a will or a ds lite...ty

1-You can download Super Mario Bros 1 2 and 3 even the Super Mario Bros 2 Japanese version!!!!All on the Wii shop channel if I remember right they all cost 500 Wii points($5) each

2-You need a wirless connection ( Wi-Fi ) or Broadband if you have dial up you out of luck.

3-I suggest you buy a Wii it's better more games on it motion sensing and better graphics.

ok, to download those mario games or any virtual console game u have to have wii points. to get wii points u go to the store and buy a wii points card for 20 dollars. it comes with 2000 points. u enter the code on the wii shop channel and u can spend the points on games.

no u dont need the internet to use the wii shop channel.

the wii shop channel is on the main menu, u'll see it.

i like both the wii and ds, so it's really up to u.

1.Yes, you can buy super mario bros. 1, 2, and 3 from the Wii shop Channel. To buy games you must have a credit card or a Wii Points Card. I recommend getting a Wii Points card. You buy the card which is 2000 points ($20) and you scratch off the little thingy off the back and enter the code on the Wii Shop Channel to redeem the points from the card. After that, you can either buy or give a game as a gift to a friend who has a Wii that is connected to the internet.

Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3 are all 500 points ($5) so one Wii Points Card is enough.

2. You need an internet connection and there are 3 ways to connect your Wii to the internet:

1. Wireless Router. I highly recommend using a wireless router.

2. LAN Adapter. If you don't have a wireless router and have a regular Wired Router then you can buy a LAN Adapter (online at the Nintendo Store or you can buy a third party LAN Adapter from Wal-Mart).

3. Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. You must buy a Wi-Fi USB Connector. I have bought 2 of these and NEITHER OF THEM HAVE WORKED. So I recommend not using this method.

3. The Wii Shop Channel is located on the Wii Menu.

4. This is all up to you. The Wii is more expensive but has a very well rounded experience as a home console. The DS is cheaper and is a portable handheld system. I have both of these so I recommend getting both BUT, this is ENTIRELY up to you.
