1. I wouldn't put half that wattage into a power acoustik. Even if you did it's still going to waste a lot of power. Kicker is the better of the 2 in sq,spl and overall quality.

  2. kicker is a much better sub as for quality and sound. go with the L7 and you will go deaf

  3. there is no comparison- they are in two completely different classes (like a Cadillac and a Kia)

Kicker products are CEA-compliant which means that their subs can handle their rated advertised RMS wattage and their amps produce of exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion (the main cause of sub damage is distortion)

if you sent a "real" 1700watts RMS to that m**o it would be toast, the L7 could handle being very overpowered longer than that m**o could handle its advertised power handling

    go with the L7

note: here are the CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine (highly recommend)

    Bazooka (don't like their subs)

    Blaupunkt (don't like their subs)

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity (highly recommend)

    JBL

JL Audio (very good but over priced)

    JVC

    Kenwood (don't like their subs)

Kicker (the best in my opinion)

    MTX (highly recommend)

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio (highly recommend)

    PPI

    Rockford Fosgate (highly recommend)

    Sony (don't like their subs)

  4. Kicker L7 ? I have 2 15 inch my only problem is they take 6 cubic feet each to produce the SPL i got from 2 MTX 4500 15's witch only took 2.5 cubic feet
