L96 airsoft sniper... can i use .12 bbs just for fun?

i just want to know because i dont want to hurt my gun. thanks

They are very cheap and light so you run the risk of them blowing up in the chamber.  I wouldn't do it

Most of your .12g BBs are pretty low grade plastic and are prone to breaking, chipping, etc.  They are a sure way to jam your gun or worse yet damage the barrel and hopup.  As a rule of thumb, save the .12g for spring pistols or plastic gear airsoft guns.
