One of one network PC can't connect to internet.

In the Network Connection status is Network Unplugged.

What is the problem?

  1. Check the network cable leading to the patch panel, maybe it it not connected properly.


  2. check the lan cable at the computer and also at the switch then look for lan connection properties then check if the ip address if the same .

    then see if the lan card is detected

    then insert the lan card again after removing

    last see the lights on the lan card if glowing

    by this you should know where the problem is .............

  3. check network cable bothe side using lan tester if it is working good then check the node in which your connecting this cable.

  4. At it's simplest - it's unplugged! :)

    The connection could be not made for a number of reasons:

    1-test the physical connection (check cables correctly inserted)(change the network cable for one which you know is good, as it may be a faulty cable)(does another computer connect Ok when you use the same socket?, it may be a faulty socket)

    2-network card problems - failure? driver issues?
