LAPTOP OR COMPUTER ?!? (I get to choose)?

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for opening & hopefully answering my question!

My dad is going to buy my brother and I each a seperate computer for our birthdays but I get to choose between a laptop or computer....WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?!? I also heard Mac's are cool. I need everyone's opinions on this. Everyone has a say in this!!=)

Hi    I would say laptop thats what i got it comes almost every where with me because it can the days setting in small room are over

laptops only last a couple of years long and i found this out after i bought one.. also laptops cool only if you get wireless internet because its the same as a regular computer if you still have a million chords coming out of it.. you cant move it anywhere.. and you cant download and music or movies on a laptop because it has little memory compared to a regular computer.. Also laptops can overheat easily and after awhile they will turn off randomly when they get too hot.. all laptops are good for is schoolwork and maybe surfing the internet.. Dont get a laptop unless you need one because your on the run all the time.. I got one cuz I thought they were cool. and it lasted about 4 years before it stopped turning on all together.. I wish i got a regular one.. maybe you could get a laptop after you already have a regular computer.. thats what i should have done.

I recommend getting a PC because they are cheaper, faster and last longer and are upgradable.... Laptops are nice as secondary computers and for people that are doing work on the go a lot, but in every other situation PCs carry more power, especially if you build them yourself or have a friend pick out the parts.

it depends on your usage. if your are always going outside your home like bringing it into school go for laptops and if your like to more faster, better and upgradable go for PC's

get a laptop!!!

you can take it anywhere unlike a computer...

and you could buy a lap top that does the exact thing as a mac so get one of those!!
