LASIK advice?

Question

I have been doing some research on LASIK, and I wanted to get some personal perspectives from those who have had the surgery. Anything and everything you can think of to offer would be greatly appreciated! I am nearsighted with a slight astigmatism in my left eye. I wear soft contacts and glasses and am very interested in LASIK as a cost alternative. Thanks in advance!

Lasik eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Since you are looking into cost effective alternative to costly contacts, consider saving on Lasik and Contacts through the 2020vision4less membership. A patient of mine saved $2,000 on lasik with that. Another patient saves $100 or so on their contacts   every year.

Lasik is very good. No spect needed or contact having 6/6 for the past 7 months.

I, too, find that the patient horror stories are the best motivation. And so, I offer you the severe and never-ending pain that can be the rest of your life. A small risk, but a risk taken.

I used bi focals and then went for lasik< not every one is a candidate, so go for a screening.  I chose to have my long vision fixed as oposed to my reading vision, so i still wear reading glasses.  I had the lasik and it is awsome then for 1000 more I had the upgrade,  I do not regret my surgery, if they could fix my reading glasses problem too I would do it again.   BUT,,, remember these are your eyes, only go to a good eye doctor not just some dummie on the corner.  good luck to you

I LOVE the fact that I got Lasik.  The difference is amazing.  I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!
