  1. mono (Greek): one

    unus (Latin): one

    duo (Latin): two

    bi (Greek): two

  2. Mono it means simple or "the only one". It's coming from the word "monos" and that means single, alone... Unus it;s a latina word and it means unique, duo is the number 2 in latin and modern italian. Regarding bi I don;t really know...

    I hope it helps...

  3. "mono" : from the Greek μόνος ('alone') or μονός ('single')

    "unus" : Latin : one, only one, at the same time/ single, alone /unparalleled

    "duo" : Latin : two

    "bi" from "bis": Latin : twice

  4. Duo is two in Latin.

  5. Mono = Latinized form of Greek word for "single".

    duo [should be "dyo" in Greek] = Latinized form of Greek word for "two".

    The above two words were originally Greek, but Romans transcribed it into Latin alphabet so it became "mono" & "duo"

    unus = Latin for "one".

    bi = Latin for "double".
