LAUNCHcast error 14 "We're sorry, the player encountered an error streaming your music"?

Question

When I try to listen to my station I get this error. I have not been able to listen to my station in a month because of it. The lack of Carpenters music has left a gaping hole in my heart. Can anyone help me resolve this tragedy?

I am using IE 7.0 and have tried refreshing, rebooting, etc.

Upgrade WMP to WMP11 (no guarantees).  Error 14 is supposed to mean problem opening stream because of no codec:

Sometimes uninstalling WMP 11 and re-installing helps.

Sometimes upgrading YMJ to the latest level helps.  You should be on Version 2.2.2.056 of YMJ.  You might check to see if you have the same problem with Launchcast by trying:

Launchcast under Internet Explorer, under YMJ, and under Y! Messenger (via the plug-in).  There are also some HTTP options to check but you should get the things to try from Y! technical support:
