LCD Display. Only have LCD display when rotated toward front of camera. When I begin to rotate

Question

Only have LCD display when rotated toward front of camera. When I begin to rotate toward rear, the LCD shuts off about half way through rotation and stays off if rotated toward rear. Turns back on at same rotation spot when rotating toward front of camera. Stays on as long as toward front. I don't mind tearing apart if someone can give me a clue(switch,actuater, etc) Thanks
