LCD TV picture has vertical lines through picture...

Question

On screen menuing not affected but any input has the lines they change color with back ground red on black and change as picture changes. It looks as if it is losing interlacing. Hapened all at once. distance between lines change with different screen size and go from 1/16 of an inch to very thin the smaller the picture.
