plasma televisions have to have the plasma replaced every so often 6-8 years i think...lcd does not....just about the only difference i think

LCDs are liquid displays which are good for gaming and bright rooms. Plasmas have that glass surface these TVs are great for watching movies in the dark and for fast motion. Both are great in my opinion. Both have its pros and cons.
