LCD or Plasma? Which to get? Which is better for my living room. We don't play video games, just an occasional

I don't know if plasma is better CONSUMER REPORTS SAYS THEY ARE ABOUT THE SAME. IF IT MATTERS, PLASMA USES A LOT MORE ENERGY AND I'VE HEARD THAT NETWORK LOGO'S TEND TO BURN INTO THE PLASMA SCREENS.NOT SO WITH LCD. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU FIND THE BEST TV  FOR YOU.

I usually prefer LCDs, but a plasma would be great for you given your situation!

it depends how much your gonna spend and how big the tv is going to be..

if your goin for anything over 40" then go for a plasma.

if under then go for an LCD.

plasma has better black levels but LCD jus generally works better, lasts longer and works well in all lights.

i have heard the plasma filters break easily and people have to spend loads replacing them and most LCDs can do whatever a plasma can do anyway so personally i would reccomend LCD but in theory there is no better one because they both have pros and cons.

If your room is going to be dark when you watch movies then you should use a PLASMA. If is in well lighted room use an LCD.
