  1. The LD/50 dose is in g/mg etc per Kg of tissue. So u could just scale it up. However it does assume that the metabolic rate and tolerance/regeneration levels are proportionately the same in humans.

    Eg LD/50 for alcohol (rats)=10units/kg (or about 2.5 units 'pro rata'. This would transl8 2 about 600 units for an average 60Kg human...ie about 20 odd bottles of whisky or voddy. You or I would be dead b4 the first 4 bottles prolly..which just goes 2 prove how tough an hard these little buggers are! Hence the saying 'rat -arsed'!
