BTW, you're probably wondering why I asked this question in the section of Lampang, Thailand. I did this so it would be away from the dangerous waters of R&S, primarily because this area is remote (few people comes here). I didn't feel like dealing with anti-Mormons and the like.

please star so other LDS can see this question.

  1. I watched on BYU TV via dishnet.  It was a wonderful outpouring of the spirit.  He will be missed but we will carry on as he would have desired.

  2. I didn't go and I haven't even watched it yet.  It's sitting on my DVR ready to watch though.  I just need to find a time when the kids will let me watch it with relative peace and quiet.

  3. ooh i recorded it, but haven't seen it yet. i heard it was very nice though.

  4. I live in Queensland, Australia. I was not able to see it. Our Branch (ward) are watching it on sunday in Sunday school & Relief society/priesthood time. Instead of having classes. By request of our stake President. It should be good. I can't wait to see it.

Good thinking to put it in this area.

  5. When I went to Spencer W. Kimble's (veiwing), I don't remember anti-mormons, I remember long, lonmg, long, lines. I watched the funeral on T.V. by the way I am ex-mormon.

  6. Who's Hinckley ?   How about Ledger's death in NYC.

  7. LOL you can find this question by doing an advanced search on Mormons or LDS or Joseph Smith for some questions and then save it on your my yahoo.

That's how I found this question.

I saw on directv and BYU tv

  8. Our stake had a special satellite viewing of the funeral service last Sunday at 4PM (Philippine time). It's such a great lost but I know that Pres. Monson will continue the work Pres. Hinckley left...God bless the new presidency!!!

  9. I also watched on BYU TV via the Internet. What a beautiful service and testament to a beloved Prophet.

  10. I watched it on KSL - along with the other specials they had on the life of the prophet.  It was touching.  I also watched the live news conference Monday as the new First Presidency was presented -- it was a marvellous experience as the Spirit testified to me that President Monson was truly the Lord's prophet and that the Lord was now and always at the helm of His church on earth.

We thank thee, O God, for a prophet...

  11. I watched it on BYUTV.  The speakers were excellent, especially President Monson.  I love his talks.

  12. I have it on my DVR but haven't watched it yet.  President Hinckley will definitely be missed.  He was such a great man.  Truly an amazing prophet!  Although I'm sure he's very happy to be reunited with his beautiful wife now.

  13. Watched it on tv wished I could've gone.

  14. Thanks for your sensitivity to that.  Yes, I did see it and was impressed by how wonderfully spiritual all of the messages were.  It reassured my faith in the LDS church.

  15. I watched it on television.  It was a nice service for a great man.

  16. Gonna watch it on the intermet

  17. i am timmyyy

  18. I did not go but i wish that i could of went. In fact my aunt went and she got a couple of extra programs and when she comes up this coming weekend she is going to give us one.

I did however get to watch the funeral from my own home, in which i live in Utah and it was no TV here. I thought that the funeral was really great. there were some really great talks. President Monson made us laugh when he talked about Hinckley can and the doctor told him that he was suppose to tell Hickely to use it and Monson responded you tell him, i am his counselor not his doctor. I also liked how i believe it was brother Tingey who would use the elevator and offered Hickley but Hickley would not use the elevator he would use the stairs.

President Hinckley was a great man whom we all loved and will be missed. I am sure that we will feel all that way of all of the Presdients of the church.
