I always here Lebanese are open minded Lebanese people when do they usually loose there virginity (AVERAGELY).

Please say they truth .... boys and girls

plus did you date,have a relationship are all of these things possible in Lebanon or is it like the Arab world ? THANKS YOU

Usually they wait till they get married but some are loosing it before & then doing some surgeries to "undo" what they did lol but that is not the case every where ... but in comparison to the past, it is becoming more common

I have read several opinions on this topic and wish to comment on some, agree with others and add somepersonal points.

It depends how they were raised? Are you suggesting that if parents raise kids to be theives, rapist, abusers, drug addicts etc... they will grow up to be that !!!!! We are in the 20th century people, we make our own judgement and decison based on several criterias in our lives.

The word LOOSE IT...come on people we can be a bit more civilized than that, people choose to have a sexual active relationship, it not done based on force, marial status or others.

I do agree that religion plays a role..... but come on haven't we seen enough teenagers rebel on theit ancestors, religion, parents etc....

I am proud to say, that Lebanon is a liberal country....meaning NO you can not kill ur daughter or sister since you beleive she has caused shame to the family...

In my opinion their is no specific age range to participate or start a sexual relationship, it all depends on making the decision and when that person beleives he/she is ready.

In addition in response to the simple question at hand, yes in Lebanon, people date and go into relationships opposite to several Arab countries, as for the age range that teenager start having a sexual relationships , many beleive its start at the age of 17 for girls and 16 for boys.

First of all, yes, Lebanese people do have relationships. Don't stereotype us as Saudis or conservatives - we are not. We are just like you. If I like a girl, I'll ask her out, just like you would probably do or just like any other westerner would probably do. And if a girl likes a guy, she'll ask him out. We are not arranged into marriages and we aren't hanged for premarital s*x like you would stereotype ALL Middle Easterners as.

To your question, many Lebanese have s*x outside of marriage. It is still a scandal to some, but accepted by many others. I think in general, virginity loss happens from the late teen years to the mid twenties, at least from my experience and what I've seen. I think usually between 17 and 20  these days they are loosing it .... i think so i heard many people talking last time about this subject in Lebanon i think so.also yea ever one dates there,and everyone goes out its normal its not an important thing,all of them have a relationship Lebanon is a Liberal country !
