LEGIT ways to make money online?

Question

I'm not talking about '£500 an hour' get rich quick scams, I just want to know if there are any real genuine sites that you have tried to earn a few bob and have actually made any income from them?

I've tried a TON of sites, and currently use about 10 that I have decided are most worth my while.  My best by far is a GPT site.  I get by them pretty regularly, and the company is really reliable and has a good reputation.  I also use paid surveys and paid to post sites, and have been paid by them as well.  If you'd like links to the sites I use, send me a message.  They definately work.

Do your research. Search for companies on the internet that are established companies, listed on the stock exchange, been trading for several years etc.

Dont be put off by people who say that company is rubbish, you`ll never make any money with that opportunity etc.

It just means THEY didnt make any money, or they know somebody who didnt make any money. It doesnt mean you wont do well with the same company. DO YOUR RESEARCH !

Believe me, I`ve made the mistakes, listened to the wrong people and tried just about everything. BUT, you will find the right opportunity for YOU !

I have looked in many places on the web for money making opportunities. I have come across many scams as well as websites that don't pay well or have a high minimum payout. The best website I could find is mylot.com where you are paid to start and add to discussions. I have come across many scam websites so I have spent time to research this one. They pay in paypal, the minimum is 10 dollars to cash out, it is 100% free, it is virus free unlike some ptc's, there is no tax info needed, and it is also entertaining and not boring. The only thing I will tell you is that they update your earnings every 24 hours so it looks like you have 0 dollars for the first day. Look for reviews online or read the FAQ if you wish but I can assure you that it is the best you will find. It is a lot like a paid version of yahoo answers if you ask me. Well, first of the only way to make money online is to "build" something.  You need to think of marketing on the internet like a business.  By this I mean you need to focus on something long term, that you work at each day and it becomes something that in the future is like a business that continues to grow and expand and make you more money.  I honestly think that if you can accept this you are on the right track to making money online.  There is nothing wrong with a quick buck here and there, but many methods people use to make money online are short term.  They do not focus on building assets/business and every few months they need to think of something new.  Hopefully this will get you started.

Simple fact is, anyone who knows or is making money on the internet are highly unlikely to let you know what it is they are doing. Obviously, it is possible, and most ways either involve selling a service, product, advertising (i.e. Adwords) or becoming an affiliate. Anything else you may have in mind, such as data inputting, surveys, etc DO NOT exist - they are typically done in third world countries where they can pay far less.

Two months ago, I joined CashCrate which is a site that pays you for every survey you fill out. You could earn anywhere from a couple of dollars to 2,000 bucks depending on how much time you put into filling out the surveys. You receive a paycheck the 20th of every month if you earned at least 10$, which if you didn't--the money would be added to your next months paycheck.

I know from experience that one can earn a very good income online with a respectable company.

My suggestion would be this. Go to some of the home business forums, browse around, read what people have to say about different things. When you find a few who interest you, click on the links in their signature file or their profile and take a look at their business.

There are a few of us here in Yahoo Answers who work online, see what kind of answers different ones offer to questions, if they are sincere or just blowing people off. Then go to their profile and check them out, click on their links and learn about their business.

Once you have a list of two or three that interest you, email or call them, ask to give you some more in depth information about the company, the products, the compensation plan, etc. You can find something worth doing if you approach it in this way.

Some things to look for in business opportunities:

look for an opportunity that can do business internationally.

Consider companies in the health and wellness industry.

Look for companies that offer consumable products at a reasonable price and have a decent compensation plan.
