LEGO's....?

is it possible to buy new lego sets that are just blocks and not these stupid star wars or indiana jones sets where they are made to only make one thing.

When you buy the special models the fun comes from:

1.  building the basic mode (e.g. star wars model), it's an easy little puzzle plus you can learn new building techniques.

2.  after you collect several of these sets you can combine in the any way you want - say try to build space monster or house

Here's some key input on how to build a Lego collection:

- small sets have lots of specialty items, yes some seem to have one purpose but look for other ways to use it

- large sets give you lots of pieces but also great ideas on how to combine the parts - these are the cheapest way to build a nice collection

- a few buckets or individual brick sets can build your collection in the way you want to play.  See

yeah. there are these big containers filled with lego and i think includes a booklet with ideas for models you can build. also, in official lego shops, there are these grab bags that have different types of lego pieces, from normal ones to technic ones.
