Hello, My LG 37 inch LCD flat panel randomly loses picture. The picture will flicker on and off until it shuts itself off. While the picture is flickering, the audio is still working. We bought this TV in August 07. The first time this happened was at the end of September. We bought the Warranty protection from Best Buy and called it in. They sent out a repairman but because this happens randomly, the TV was fine when he was here. It happened a few more times then seemed to be fine for the next few months. Recently, within the last month 3/08 - 4/08 it started happening again. It works 90% of the time, so to jump through the Best Buy warranty hoops to have a guy come out and hope that he catches the TV while it is acting up is a bit hopeless. I think for the amount we paid for the TV and the warranty they should replace it, but that is not the case. They say we have to have the same incident happen 3 times before they will replace. That means the repairman would have to be here, see and fix the problem all three times. I think my odds of hitting the lotto may be better than that happening. SO anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?
