LG Dare Phone..good phone or bad?!?

I really really like this phone and I'm thinking about buying it. It's $199 for a two year plan.. I don't know if its worth it because iI keep hearing it sucks. Does it? One of my friends parents own a verizon store and he said people are returning them. should I buy it?
