LG LCD Question?

I just bought one , a 42" last night. Was trying to set it up for a couple hours, and got ready to turn it off and it seemed awfully hot.

This is my first LCD and I don't know if this is normal are what.

Thats normal LCD`s create a huge amount of heat as well as consume a lot more electricity than a CRT TV.

LCD's do generate a lot of heat, nothing to worry about.

You may also get a 'hot smell' for a couple of days but that will fade with use.

its quite normal but if its happens a lot i would take it back within a week . tht way you have a better chance of getting a replacement . rather than they trying to fix it .
