LG LCD TV(42LG30)'s Picture Mode Keep goes back to Vivid?

Question

I've just bought a LG LCD TV 2 days ago. There's some problem with the Picture mode which has 'vivid', 'standard', 'game', 'cinema'. If I change the mode to game or anything, It changes to Vivid. Besides, if I click the AV mode button in Remote controller, it also keep goes to 'off' mode soon or later. I checked the manual, there's no such a thing about that matter. I also checked about that here in yahoo answers, only one person has same question but there's no proper answer.

Is this a serious problem? That means Have I bought a broken TV?

Your TV is NOT broken!

Many TV manufacturers have begun to incorporate a feature called "Store/Home mode" into their TV's and your LG TV is no different. The initial setup panel lets you select this mode. If you inadvertently set your TV to Store Mode, then your TV will automatically return to the factory preset settings (Vivid picture mode) regardless of your settings. Disconnect your TV from the AC outlet for 10 minutes. When you reconnect your TV to the power outlet and then turn-on your TV you should be taken to the initial setup screen where you can select "Home Mode" and your TV settings will no longer automatically be returned to the factory preset settings.

P.S. Page 42 of your manual (Initial Setting -  Mode Setting) describes this feature and its impact on a user's picture settings.
