LG V8824w DVD/CD - Disc Error

My LG V8824w DVD/CD was working fine this morning and now it says "disc error" whenever I put in a disc. I even bought a cleaning disc and it will not read that. It says "reading" for about a minute and then says "disc error". Any suggestions?
