LG VU(TM) phone - please help me?

and im just curious if i decide later to switch phone companies (currently with at&t), is this phone (or any LG phone), compatible with other cell phone companies? thanks in advance... please help me

AT&T phone can be used with carriers that use sim cards, not all carriers use sim cards. AT&T phones, can not be used with verizon!!!!!!!!
