LG chocolate phone help. best answer gets it immediately?

Question

ok so my LG chocolate phone doesn't play sound JUST today for some reason.. i came into my room after dinner to make a call to my friend and for some reason she couldn't hear me.. and hung up

but i heard her

i was using earphones so i took off the earphones and decided to call her again without them

i had the earphones plugged in for almost the whole day from about 12 at noon to 10 at night.

however, my phone has no sound on the navigation wheel or whatever buttons i press

i called her but no sound on the other end.

i used my mom's phone to call my phone to test but no sound either, but there's a ring tone sound.

i can't even play my music, speakerphone doesnt work either.

when i plug my earphones in, i can hear the sounds, music etc, except when i call i can hear the other end, but the other person doesnt hear me.

but it does have sound turning on off the cell and taking pictures.

i tried going to settings and tools and selecting sound settings to reset it, but everything's on max volume. however, i went to keypad volume and on the top it says: keypad vol-earjack

no sound, please help im really worried right now

Call Verizon on a landline or another cell and talk to them. They can sometimes fix it over the phone or tell you what is wrong.

I would take it to your carrier dealer, they should be able to check it out (and NOT charge yo for it) and tell you exactly what it is. If your chocolate is under warranty or has insurance you'll be able to get a new one if this one is broken.
