LG chocolate won't connect to Yahoo messenger?

It will sign onto aim, but when I try to log into Yahoo it says "failure sending SMS, please retry". Is there a way to fix this?

While the phone is on just take the battery out it should reset all applications it wont change anything or delete anything it just resets it. If it doesnt work just dial #611 and see if they can send you out a new phone!
