LG dvd drive has stopped reading dvd's

Question

My LG dvd drive in my pc has suddenly stopped reading dvd's. When I insert a dvd into the drive the green light flashes suggesting that it is trying to read the disc, but after a while a message appear on the monitor; " insert a disc in the dvd drive marked (F). What could be the problem? Please help me.
