LG window unit: compressor keeps kicking off,...

Question

I have a 15,000 btu lg thru the window unit [115 volt] and it worked great for about two months. Now, the unit cools ...somewhat badly - for about 5 minutes, and then the compressor 'clicks' "OFF" for about ten minutes, then the cycle continues and repeats. I tried lowering the "CALL FOR" temperature ... all the way down to 60 degrees F, but that doesn't help. The filter is clean, the unit is stable, I don't know what else to check.Sincerely,Richard Roepnack [e-mail]
