LGA Airport?

Question

I am flying out of Laguardia Airport in NY (Delta Terminal) I wanted to know how long I should get there in advance for a flight to atlanta, are the TSA lines long, my flight is at 6 a.m. by the way so any info would help!!

ok... you should probably get there around 4:00... just to make sure that you get through security on time. also you can eat breakfast before your flight leaves if there are any resteraunts open. I am going to have to do the same thing when i travel to st. johns and my flight leaves at 8:20... not as early i know beleive me.... but when your traveling with your family and it takes FOREVER TO GET READY!!! you have to get up early and get there on time. hope i helped!!! :):)

I have flown out of Laguardia before and believe me it is best to arrive with plenty of time! In your case your flight leaves at 6 am, it is best to arrive 2 hours before your flight departs. A flight from New York to Atlanta could be pretty busy too! I would arrive at the airport at about 4 am. You need time to check-in, check any luggage, get through security (which could be a nightmare) have time to freshen up if needed, and time to get to your gate! Its better to be safe than sorry. So I would arrive about 2 hours before your flight leaves!
