  1. Marriage.  It would help more people in more ways.    Legal marriage that provides both state and federal benefits would provide couples (and their families) more than 1,000 legal rights and privileges.  Right now I have the legal rights provided by the state of CA, but none of the federal benefits.

Furthermore I can't understand why any self-respecting LGBT person would serve in the military of a nation that didn't provide him/her with full equality in every way, including marriage, employment, adoption and so on.  It's insane to possibly lay down one's life for a nation that won't even let you marry the person you love.  But that's just my take on it, others may feel differently.

  2. g*y Marriage because if i end up with a woman (which i think i probably will) i wud like very much to marry her

  3. The right to fight!

  4. g*y marriage because I'm not in the military.

  5. legalization of g*y marriage. why not the military part? because according to the military i'm a cripple when i'm a fit as a fiddle and have minor scoliosis.  -_-

  6. I guess if i lived in america i would choose legalisation in all 50 states, because all the other stuff will probably follow after it!

  7. Serving openly in the military.  People can be together without being married, it doesn't necessarily directly affect their lives, whereas members of the forces need to be able to go about their work without fear of repercussions.

  8. i would love for both to happen!

  9. Legislation of g*y marriage in all 50 states. I agree with the other person who said that the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Policy in the military would be an easier fight. (((HUGS)))

  10. Legalization of g*y marriage in all 50 states, I think once marriage was legalized then "Don't ask don't tell" would be repealed pretty easily, after all if you recognize the marriages how can you justify denying them the right to serve.

  11. Man it's a hard one...I'm a Bi-guy and really don't care for either...I don't really think about getting married...and if the military doesn't want a certain person then why would I want to put myself in a bad situation...but at the same time it sucks that neither has happened...  It's just not the norm at the moment but it will eventually happen in our lifetime...

  12. Legalization of g*y marriage in all 50 states. DADT won't be hard to repeal. And honestly I don't give a **** if I can serve in the military or not--I was strongly considering joining the Navy after college (and still am considering it) but I don't want to have to hide.

  13. I'd rather have LGBT people serve openly. There are too many military members being discharged because of their orientation, people who fill crucial jobs. I agree that g*y marriage should be passed, but I think having qualified people in our military is more important.

  14. That's a very difficult question for me to answer since my girlfriend is in the military.  I honestly think at this point in my life I'd take civil unions with serving openly in the military as opposed to legal g*y marriage.

My gf can't live openly without being in fear at work, and I don't think that's right.  I'd rather have her be able to live openly 24 hours a day than us get married.

  15. Legalisation of g*y Marriage in all 50 states

    (((HUGS)) *muahs*

    everyone is doing that now.lol

  16. We need the same rights as straight people in all 50 states.

  17. Legalization of g*y Marriage in all 50 states...

I'm lucky i live in england we have been able to serve in the military openly since 2000...we don't have g*y marriage over here tho, we have civil unions...

  18. Legalization of g*y Marriage in all 50 states because I'm not going to the army ever!

  19. g*y marriage. thats more important

  20. Marriage, because the military thing is going to work itself out.

P.s. and let me just say I like your attitude. Stay positive. :D

  21. g*y MARRIAGE! It would be easier to win the military over after that legislation has passed

  22. Legalization of g*y marriage, because "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" would be an easier fight to win.

  23. Legalization of g*y Marriage in all 50 states , the military now fights for money anyway not for higher causes .
