Before I post this question, I want to make it clear that I am not promoting hate, ignorance or showing bias or intolerance toward people who are g*y, L*****n or belong to the LGBT community. We have all heard of people who get married to look normal in the eyes of society which is so judgmental, or to have children with the opposite gender although they would rather be with someone else. My inquiry is whether these parents are able to love their children the same way heterosexual parents do. Do they look at their children and see the partner they do not love in them, are they reminded of the relationship which was made for them to look good in society and at times, forced upon, or do they just put that aside, and pull their children close to their hearts? Once again, no offence to anybody. Thank you everybody.

  1. The gender you love has nothing to do with having the capability to love a child.

  2. I'm not g*y but I think I can answer this one. What does your sexual preference have to do with your ability to love your child? People get divorced and still love their kids all the time.

  3. why wouldn't g*y parents be able to love their children the same way straight parents would?  They're still their children.  Of course they would love them.  Sexual orientation has nothing to do with someone's ability to be a great parent.  When my wife and I have a baby, we will both love that child more than life itself.  And we will both be the parents of that child.

  4. I think that they don't.  If they are open enough about it to bring a child into the mix, then they are comfortable with themselves and they would never look at the child that way.  I think they love the child just as much as anyone else loves there child.  I also think that the self confidence it would take for a g*y couple to raise a child and the amount of conviction it would take, would make the child very strong in the future!
