LICE---LICE---LICE??

Question

Does mayo, peanut butter, or listerine really help with getting rid of lice??

Not talking about the shampoo...just these 3 things or any other household things that help???

Just buy the d**n shampoo. If you're going to do anything, do it right.

no, they don't.   especially those things.... lice live off the oils in the hair, mayo, and peanut butter are oily, they will feed the bugs.

Don't know about listerine.  I know that Lysol may work, or the old school turpentine which I would never recommend..

Instead of using RID, use Pronto.  It's better.  Get one of those metal combs that pull out the nits...  

Another thing that helps reduce outbreaks would be to wash their hair every day.  That will wash out the lice if you also use the comb, before they have a chance to lay their eggs which is the real problem.

Conditioner is said to inhibit the lice ability to move and breath so that you can comb them out with a fine toothed comb, the same may go for mayo. Vinegar is another home remedy I've used, I believe it also inhibits their breathing.

my bro used mayo and it worked!!

Baby oil. Saturate your head in baby oil, wrap it in a towel and leave it as long as you can. If your gonna be home for about 6 or 8 hours....Do it then.

mayo and pb deff do not idk bout listerine tho

just get the shampoo...trust me...that works the best!
