  1. I've seen a few of them and they seem very boring, especially for my son.  They do not meet his learning style at all.  They might for other kids.

The scope & sequence doesn't seem that deep or broad to me.  That is something that's very important in my HS'ing goals.

  2. I have used it and it was okay.  For K-6 I prefer AOP Horizons though, and for 7-12 you can't beat Teaching Textbooks, or Saxon.

  3. I agree totally with Thrice Blessed.  You have to match your student's style and needs.  Horizons Math has worked best for us.  Teaching Textbooks are excellent for upper levels.  Others in our homeschool support group are firmly committed to Math U See throughout the school experience from kindergarten through 12th grade. (not that you  purchase it from K-12)

  4. Not deep at all. We got a used set for free so I use some of it for enrichment, but did not like it to teach with. We love Saxon Math.

  5. To Handedness - Math U See can be purchased directly from the company itself, rather than going through k12.  :)
