LIP PIERCING with a labret???

when you get your lip pierced with a labret can you get it pierced with a black one (or another color) or do you just get stuck with the silver one?

It does depend where you go, but usually if you ask for an annodised one (thats like, a colored one- the annodised ones are the good ones because the color doesnt scrape off on your lip) they should give you one- most places will give you the choice. If not, get it pierced else where or wait until it's healed to change the bar to a colored one. If your thinking of getting a black one- get a blackline one. They are good quality and wont cause your lip any bother like cheap imitations will.

i'm pretty sure they have black colored beads. however, i dont' think they would feel comfortable with piercing with PVD coated stuff.

i got my labret piercing today and the guy that did it just gave me a standard silver stud, i think they usually do this cos these are specially made longer to decrease chances of irritation and stuff during the first few weeks.

he told me to come back in 3 weeks and aslong as its healing ok he will switch it for a smaller diamond stud which is what i originally wanted so id rather wait the few weeks to get the pretty one than risk it going abit dodgy :-D

why does it matter ?  When it's healed just go buy a cool one

Or you could buy a cool one and ask the piercer to use that one , but make sure it's sterilized

and don't get acrylic or anything like that for the initial labret ( they're bad for healin ]

idk but dont do it becuz u get a fat lip when u get a lip percing and it will gett infected really bad.

depends on the what the piercing place has to offer. you can pick though. (..you wont have a fat lip, unless you dont take care of it) just go for it. i have my lip done.
