The hosts were given a mammoth target of 508 runs by the opposition, which looked almost impossible to achieve.
However, the home team had one chance of saving the match if they applied themselves in the middle and batted sensibly.

However, the positive thing for the Bangladesh side was that their star opener Tamim was still unbeaten at the crease and kept the hopes alive for his fans.
The pitch today did not appear to have changed much, as batting was still easy. The bowlers will really have to bend their backs in order to take wickets. However, once the home team’s tail is exposed, things might start turning in favour of the Windies.
At the start of play today, Bangladesh suffered a big blow, losing Tamim early. He added only one more run to his overnight total in the morning session and was sent back to the pavilion.
The stylish left-handed batsman played decently though, scoring 83 runs with the help of eight fours and one massive six. He would have been disappointed after missing out on a ton, as the conditions were also in his favour.

The pair played steadily and scored a solid half-century partnership for the fifth wicket, rescuing their side from trouble.
Both batsmen scored half-centuries in their respective outings and have given a chance to the team to draw the match.
However, there are just a couple of more batsmen to come for the home team and they will need to work extremely hard in order to survive the remaining day.
