Pakistan struck with a couple of early wickets against Sri Lanka in the final One Day International (ODI) of the five match series at the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE) on Wednesday, November 23, 2011.
Sri Lanka’s skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TM-Dilshan-c2691 had won the toss and decided to bat first. The pitch was good for batting, as it was hard and dry.

Next to go was Dilshan, who had been struggling throughout the series. The flamboyant batsman looked to attack the bowlers, but was unable to make a significant impression, getting out for 12 runs off 14 balls.
The right-handed opener just hung his bat at an away moving delivery from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Umar-Gul-c94604 and got an outside edge, which was once again taken safely by Akmal behind the stumps.

The solid middle-order batsman will need some support from the other end as well otherwise the opposition will run away with the match comfortably.
From Pakistan’s point of view, the team has got a superb start and with the bowling they possess, the Sri Lankan middle-order will be under immense pressure.
