Being up 2-0 in the series before coming into the third match, Pakistan aimed to whitewash the series by grabbing a victory in the last match, while the hosts were looking to clinch a win in the final match to give the home crowd something to cherish.
However, Zimbabwe’s decision to put Pakistan into bat first backfired as the tourists piled a formidable total on the board against the Zimbabwean bowling which looked unimpressive against the Pakistani batting line-up.
Nonetheless, it was Zimbabwe’s batting department which failed to prosper against the belligerent bowling from Pakistan which annihilated the Zimbabwean middle-order as the batsmen failed to capitalize on the commendable opening stand that was provided by
their openers as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CJ-Chibhabha-c1263 knocked 110 runs in the first wicket partnership.

over when veteran Younis Khan caught him off the bowling of debutant http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yasir-Shah-c98252. At the time of Taibu’s departure the hosts had managed to post 176 runs on the board.
Meanwhile, Shah finished with two wickets in his ten overs after conceding 51 runs.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Aizaz-Cheema-c961 was the most successful bowler from Pakistan as he grabbed four wickets in 10 overs by conceding 43 runs.
However, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Younis-Khan-c98325 who was named as the Man of the Match for smacking an astounding innings of 81 runs off 90 deliveries as he played a sensational role in helping his side post a winning total against the opposition.
Youngster http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Asad-Shafiq-c46208 also chipped in by smashing 51 runs off 72 deliveries as the batsman justified his spot in the team after being dropped from the first two games of the series.
